Hardware Co-Lead on a 10-person FIRST Tech Challenge team — responsible for managing, designing, and building a competition-ready robot across two full seasons.
Led the design, manufacturing, and integration of the robot’s mechanical and electromechanical systems throughout the full engineering cycle. Coordinated subsystem development including drivetrain, intake, lift, and end-effector mechanisms while ensuring reliability, serviceability, and competition readiness under tight deadlines. Used CAD software to prototype and iterate designs, collaborated closely with software and electrical members to optimize system integration, and guided fabrication using tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and hand tools. Beyond technical work, I organized task delegation, mentored newer members in engineering principles and fabrication techniques, and helped drive strategic decision-making during testing and competition.
